Golden moments

It has been 6 years since we won big at K@ncil and last Friday we marked the end of that by scoring for the G0lden K@ncil Award !

It was surreal especially for the art director. As for the rest, who would have thought. We were there for the food and booze (Not me. I was very extremely sober). The winnings really overwhelmed everyone. We scored the most awards too. We all went on stage. I was more than happy to tag along. Hey at least I can say I’m part of the team that won the G0lden K@ncil. It’s a biggie for us in the industry. It means recognition, credibility and creativity excellence.

There were big pix of us in The $un yesterday. If you looked closely you might catch a strand of my hair in it...ehehehehe....

On Saturday, truths were unfolded. Deep inner secrets were revealed.

More than I bargain for I must add…hehehe…. I don’t know how I do it but I just seem to be able too :-D

The alternative lifestyle intrigues me greatly lately. Not to the extend I’ll try it but more to ‘what-makes-it-come-about’ intrigue. The factors, the benefits, the differences. It fascinates me so much that I’m interrogating and studying the 'experiencer' in more detail.

I should have taken psychology and do medical papers or sort. If it’s good enough, I can actually make loads of dinero. Who would have thought I fancy writing especially coming from someone who lost interest in reading during Uni.

Oh yeah… that’s coz everyday was a holiday on Jugan St !

Anyways peeps, those who know they’re being probe by me, don’t get me wrong. I’m not scrutinizing or condemning you individually or think less of you. I find you interesting and my respect for you is as much as any normal being who can be a bigger a$s anyways. People and behaviours really attract my attention. That what makes us all beautiful and colourful even though at some point, their actions get overbearing (oh dearly me, overbearing is not even close to what I’m going thru now. sigh.) but hay… we’re only human.

That itself, is a golden virtue !

Suenos turns one

A year ago today (how come I think I use this intro before) I migrated from where I first started. In the beginning I wasn’t very active as I am now. Somehow, it became an addiction.

Ezz la got me started… shame on you woman… hehehe… see what I’ve become !

During my stay in blogspot, I learnt (in no particular order)...

**At least 3 people read my blog weekly – maybe I only have 3 readers anyways…hehehehe….

**Blog keeps you in the loop of a friend’s life cause meeting up in person gets harder and harder these days

**You can find insightful blogs on foods, recipes and gadabouts

**A friend refer another friend to my blog and when I meet my friend’s friend we chatted like we’ve known each other for a long time

**Things you can’t say to someone to the face is imparted online

**It helps to recall detail of whatever require whenever you need i.e menstrual date

**A silly-me-hit-my-head-on-the-wall entry leaded to the discovery of my blog

**Getting up close and personal with friends and sometimes people I don’t know globally

**Thoughts may be exaggerated, misleading, emotive, gives no particular attribute and vice versa

**Spur of thoughts are thoughts felt at that moment and doesn’t lingers further

And so…. I will continue to live on dreams. No fret. No fear.

Salute to longer and better entries in years to come :-)

Talented kot....

Last Saturday was the first attempt Ling2s had an audition for a commercial. I must hand it to them, for beginners, they did pretty well. You can tell they were getting into character. When maman was practicing I thought he was getting nervous. Apparently he was playing the role…hehehehe…

If it was me, I would be too shy to do it in front of people I know. They didn’t. Well actually Dd got jitters looking at Maman so he made Maman wait outside while he audition. I get to stay and watched both. Lucky me J

Dd had it easy coz he saw how Maman did earlier. So he had 2 takes while Maman did 6 I think. Don’t know if they got thru. They would get a call from talent agency if they do (even though I’m their self-designated agent, they will call them direct..hehehe..).

Anyways, attended 2 open houses on Saturday and 4 on Sunday. OMG ! I feel so restless and heavy and grateful *burppp*

I’m not eating anything anymore for a year…meanwhile we have lunch with Raya committee in the office on Monday and dinner with Client on Tuesday and couple of open houses invite upcoming weekend. So much for not eating anymore soon !

It could be worst...

It’s good to know that I am not the only one who’s trying to stay compose on a Friday night at work.

It’s actually fun when seeing others going thru a heck of a day. Make me feel, hey worst things could happen, like being in their shoes and get into hair-pulling pressure…hehehe…

Of course am loaded with work. What else is new for the last few months but that’s given being in this industry. What’s not helping is not getting enough sleep cause consecutive dreadful nightmares am getting since Sunday. I only get less than 4 hours sleep, keep on waking up in the middle of the night and finally waking up to restless and nervous-tension-feel.

Thank god it’s Friday. Let’s dread today for a fulfilling weekend yeah…

Ling2s beraya

Had another successful event at Andy’s for Raya. Almost 30 people came, as expected. Most were mutual acquaintance of the ling2s.

Otherwise we would need to put up a tent and have it on the badminton court instead !

Fun as always and food fulfilling was definitely. We finished til late but then again, since when we ever finish early ! heheheh… I had my 1st experience going to Chow Kit market on Friday nite. I don’t remember if I’ve ever set foot there. It was a typical market set in the middle of the city. KL is just a unique blend of lifestyle aint it.

Aiman did soto, kek batik and triffle; Andy did macaroni ala enchilada; ezz cut off the tails of the beansprout and I had my hands in everything else. The touches make a whole lot of difference... hehehehe...

We wore similar colour baju raya to distinguish from the guests. As if that would really be a problem. Not that we invited anyone off the street anyways… hehehe… Then came the photography session... a very extensive session I must say. The guests were awe at our... emmm... what would be the best word to describe it... expression-on-camera..hehehe... pompous is spot on :-D

It runs in this family. Truly :-)
