Adios 2006...

I am having the most mindless and relaxing Saturday ever ! I have not had this leisure on a Saturday for centuries. So I am enjoying the unrush feeling and bliss of not constantly looking at the time.

Having said that, brings to mind why I have not been updating my blog for awhile. So many things had happened and I wanted to share but it’s been hectic and I just couldn’t find the time but I made a point no matter what I must note it just so I remember what transpired at the end of 2006.

New profound discoveries – emotional, rational and physical about life, friends and family. Expectations and hopes differ as time goes by and some bedazzled occurrences which caught me off guard.

Things to revere
· The unlikely happened and am enduring it in high spirits and cheery
· A ‘Happy’ friend is happier :-D
· Unexpected sudden confession which didn’t make me fell off my seat not coz I suspect it but at that time I was occupied but definitely curious why it came about but I’m glad its out in the open coz it makes us closer
· As the year goes by, one can get emotional and starts reflecting life in an uncommon manner. It’s part of the life cycle. Everyone wants a better future, sometimes others realize it later in time but hay… better to realize than not at all.
· Cik Mas can cook and she did it pretty well too !
· I’m pleased to see my friends doing well in their own way and I’m grateful regardless of my fatefully being, you had me in mind for every good and bad times. I’m lucky to know you and hope our friendship last a lifetime.
· Aiman gave each of us Xmas gift.
· Ling2 gift exchange lead to one Ling saying I love you for the first ever time !

What I know for sure, I never had a dull day in 2006. It was definitely very colourful and intriguing even on my most depressing days.

Salam Kebahagiaan Aidil Adha 1427H & Have a brilliant 2007 ahead !

Here I am at a shoot…

…doing my work using my sister’s laptop (errr.. i borrowed your laptop and took it with me to the shoot by the way…hehe…), eating munchy’s music nuss and had loads of grapes and gosh yes… coffee coffee and coffee.

Going out for shooting is interesting because the settings and props and angles sometimes not as how it seems. It’s really cool what you thought is a full blown setting is actually just a fragment of the element.

What makes it weary is the long long long wait to catch the right moment or scene that could be use for edit. Moreover, unlimited food, snack and beverage are readily available for Agency. It comes in a package. The agony of trying to stay awake, completing one scene after another and making sure all frames are well shot resulting to non-stop access to the catering table. I don’t even have to walk much, it’s spread within an arm stretched away !

Things you must have during a shoot:

  • Sunglasses – protection against the morning sun and evening sunset. Also to be use to steal a bit of a nap when it gets really really really boring. The most you could possibly get is 10mins. Ideally, that’s already too much and avoid accidental snoring !
  • Reading materials – director’s role is to make sure that the right moment is captured, so until he says, “playback tape!”, you can actually finish a chapter from Paulo Coelho.
  • Laptop – if time’s an essence, bring it with you to finish some of the work backlog. Ideally, it’s perfect to blog.
  • Full charged battery handphone – simply cannot leave without !

It’s 800pm and I don’t feel like staying anymore. It’ll be a crazy and non-stop action tomorrow. I can’t wait for 22nd when we will have our company Christmas party and I get to chill 3 days in a row. Silver lining, here I come !

One of those days...

When it gets hectic, it’s really crazy to a point that you don’t know where to start coz there’s just too much things to do !

And when that happens, you kinda lost touch with everything around you. Your priorities and importance gets all mess up and tangle up that you don’t even know what comes first and what’s next. I hate the feeling of having to be in 4 places at the same time. It sux and no matter how focused you are, there will be interruption that gets you off course again.

Anyhoot, when life takes separate direction from one another, it’s kinda hard trying to be as before – at least at this moment it can’t be. I had my weekend all planned out, to have lunch with my ling2 after century of hiatus but I ended up spending a lifetime at the office. Imagine me 10pm still in the office on a Saturday ! Had to passed an invitation to shake some bon bon or catch a flick. Ended up taking work home and trying to get as much sleep as I can coz I couldn’t get a decent wink in weekdays.

Having said that, I missed my nieces. That’s another century I haven’t had time for and my ling2 and gadders and most importantly, just a time for me to breathe decently.

Oh well… it’s one of those days…

When life gets boring, you just do it !

You come to a stage that everything became too routine that you need to explore something that you never would have thought of. Life gets too predictable, expected, nothing out of the ordinary and after awhile, a bore. You wish for excitement to give you that cheap thrill, excitement and pleasure that says this is life. I'm enjoying my journey. It's a never-ending destination. So when someone did something unlikely, I give my utmost support and wish for a happy-ever-after ending.

Scene 1
A friend conquered her feared by doing the unprecedented. Hey women can be as courageous as men, especially when it's about dating ! She may not have the confidence but she took the risk and that's huge. So when she pulled out, I can’t help feeling disappointed. Then again, whatever the reason she did, I'm sure it was for the good of mankind..... hehehehe....

Scene 2
You party, you gad with friends, watch movie and all that. It's fun yeah but common fun. Having good company is all you need to make your day but that's just it ! Same old same old fun. Then suddenly, someone you know - married, came down for a visit and boldly asked for your 'service'. Appalled and honoured - you do it! Of course there's adrenalin rush, confused, bedazzled and charmed emotions transpired all at once. It's wrong, you know it but you never been in such predicament before. It felt right but it's so wrong. After all that, you found RM200 in your pocket. How you respond to this unexpected action? Stumped and thought... what just happened? Am i.... *lips quivering* a gig0lo?

The preposition was given to a man: Guilt feel? Hay no ! Status uplift? Hay yeah !

Scene 3
You get intrigued by the alternative lifestyle and wondered what they are thinking. This is abnormal but they feel suited with each other. How can something so sinful be so perfect. Life getting stagnant so let's probe... but... beware... curiosity kills the cat. Instead of purring it may get you to growl ;)

Scene 4
Life goes on as always. You defy but accept it because by the end of the day, there may not be a tomorrow so make the most of everyday. Suddenly, you received a bouquet of flowers so beautiful and gorgeous, your heart just stopped. What makes it interesting is that... you don't know who is the sender !

I have an admirer ? or a stalker? Cloudy thought... who ? Purple n blue. Just the way I like it. No pink whatsoever ! ...mmmmm... who knows me so well..... and the plot thickens.
