Optimist I am…

Here’s the take. Sometimes when things get out of hand, all you can do is embraced it and stay composed well enough so that you don’t get pessimistic of what’s left for you. Am I making sense?

Sometimes you have so much contentment that once you lost it, you tend to ponder why and want things to be the same. Me… I’m optimistic that all good things will end sooner than I usually hope for. Maybe cause I’ve experienced it so often that I think happiness is never set to stay forever. I guess that’s why when the worst happen, I expect it and know it’s good while it lasted. I can’t help thinking back the good times that was shared together can no longer exist at least at this point in time and when you’re in the middle of things and know how the other feels sadden me equally but reality check… this is how it is now.

Sometimes I let fate do its best and get me out from the rut and hope deeply it will be soon, like last year soon, cause I rather cope with new obstacle and deal with that than facing the same thing over and over again. At this point in time, I’m restless and powerless but life persist so I’ll strive my will as best as I will.

Though they say, you are what you make of yourself… so I just need a light bulb above my head to shed me some light and think hard…. what’s my next journey and what gives.

What a saturday...

I must surely have the most boring layout ever of a blog. Thing is I’ve no time to venture on how much more I can spruce up my blog. Anyways, what’s important is the substance of the blog not the appearance (I’ve trained myself so well to keep me self-happy)

I been wanting to add on more pix but cant seem to login textamerica and until someone tells me what other webpage can I use to display the pix in my blog, you will continue seeing the same pix pretty much forever.

Last Saturday was non-stop action for me. Woke up in the morning for an hour walk-jog-mostly walk at Tasik Shah Alam with Yus. It’s great to worked out in nature than behind four-walls of hi-tech equipments sometimes. Feels exuberating. Right after we went for western breakfast at SACC. That mall now is quite happening. The shops are better than Berjaya Times Square (surprise surprise). We got home by noon (probably with more calories than we burned…hehehe).

Couple of hours later, went to SP with sisters and nieces. It's been yonk years since I gad with my home chix... hehehe... it was great fun for me. Picked up my altered jeans (which I have to do every time I get me a new pants) and gad until 530pm which gave me just about enough time to clean up and head out again for dinner. Ajeem got Maman to cooked and hence the invite. Food was yummy. Edible enough guys...hehehe! Eddy and two other of their friends came. After a fulfilling *burp* we stayed watching Star Wars III which ended past midnite and home we roam for zzzzzz…

My weekend is equally as hectic as weekdays coz I need the balance of spending time with my loved ones. Seems to not have time for that and there's a whole lot of loved ones to be with. It's all wrong to work so hard for life but not getting to enjoy it. Worst when all you do is work and for me, no personal life whatsoever will be the death of me. As much as I like to say ~ by the end of the day, it's only work, it does get to the best of me coz I need it to survive. Pathetic soul i am. Sigh.

Come Sunday… I wished it was Friday instead (“,)

And yes am still at the office. Where else would I usually be in this hour. Taking 2mins off for post. It's part of keeping things balance too.

Pix link please...

WELCOME TO EAGLE WRENCH...eh.. Ranch...hehehe...

A YEEHAAAA GOODBYE

Sigh...

Maybe I’m too understanding or maybe too tolerating or maybe too patience and god forbid am dang too compromising (then again.. I’m a libran so really it’s in the package) but what I know being all this all the time just kills me especially when some people are stubborn although they could really be reasonable and cooperative.

And I hate having to go to someone else who I know can help me with a solution coz it just makes the other look really bad but if the other is being a pain what can I do coz by the end of the day I need a solution or an end so I can continue to the next journey and not wait for the hardhead to agree on the obvious and making it more difficult than its already is.

The end.

The Year of the Pig 2007

Chinese New Year in 2007 is the Year of the Red Fire Pig. The year of the pig ends the 12 year cycle of the Chinese zodiac. Like the houses of the zodiac, the animals of Chinese astrology are said to influence your luck during the year. Your horoscopes for 2007, the year of the pig, depends on which animal signifies the year you were born.

Pigs are said to be very good matches for tigers and sheep, but do not get along well with snakes and monkeys. Other pigs, rabbits, horses, oxen, rats, roosters, dogs and dragons can make good companions, but the relationships are not always smooth or long lasting.

Babies born in the year of the pig are fortunate and make good partners in life. The pig is modest, sometimes quick to anger but also quick to learn and hard working. Their ability to see things through brings success in business and personal affairs.

If you aren't sure which animal ruled the year that you were born this list will help. To get more specific information and learn more about what the omens are for your future in the New Year, check out related links of interest and find out what else the animals of fortune predict for you in 2007.

Here are a few general conclusions from the opinions of the sages...

Pig : 1911, 1923, 1935, 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983, 1995, 2007
With the 2006 year of preparation behind them, those born in a pig year finally come into the full energy of their own sign. With all of the patient pig's attention to detail and hard work, the table has been set for this banquet year and pigs will enjoy sharing the feast with their family, friends and business associates. This will be a lucky year — with prosperity coming from success in business but also from unexpected money. Good fortune in 2007 is ahead for romantic adventures. A marriage for the pig this year is blessed with good omens. Family, always important to the pig, will be well taken care of and the home ruled by the pig will enjoy harmony and good fortune. Old business will be successful and new ventures will be fortunate.

Rat : 1912, 1924, 1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008
The clever rat will do well to spend this year planning for the beginning of the next twelve year cycle. This cycle has been a bit difficult, but starting with the rat year in 2008, plans should start to succeed. This year of the Pig is a good time to be with friends and family who are celebrating the fullness of the year. Take care of old business and tie up loose ends that might get in the way of your coming good fortune. Enjoy vacations and hobbies this year. You will need to be well rested when your year begins.

Ox : 1913, 1925, 1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997
The year of the hard working pig brings good fortune for the ox. The energy is there to get more done and this brings prosperity and success to the sturdy ox. Just remember that this is also a year of celebration. The ox should not become so busy with work that he misses the invitation to the banquet table. It is there that new opportunities will be discovered. The ox should take care to include time for romance in this year's busy work schedule.

Tiger : 1914, 1926, 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998
The wild tiger prospered in the year of the dog and the pig will not change your good fortune. Be more cautious this year. The pig invites the tiger to the party, but the guest may find it too easy to spend more than is wise — especially in the early year when the influence of the tiger sign raises the energy. The pouncing tiger must control the urge to jump and learn to walk at the pace of the steady pig. Balance between the banquet and serious business will bring success. It is not wise for the tiger to jump into business or romance decisions this year.

Rabbit : 1915, 1927, 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999
The rabbit is also a friend of the pig who likes to hop ahead. The clever rabbit will slow the pace and enjoy the friendship and steady good fortune of the year of the pig. The influence of the pig will make rabbit calmer and more ready for serious commitments. This year may add to the rabbit's family either through marriage or children. Business fortunes will be steady but not exceptional. The rabbit will be busy enjoying life and family and have less energy to spend on work.

Dragon : 1916, 1928, 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000
Dragon is very happy to see the pig. After a year of challenges by the yipping dog, the dragon is ready to sit at the banquet table and rest. The tired dragon must remember that the dog is not far away and the clouds of the dog year still dampen his fire. The pig year will bring fullness to the dragon who eats slowly. Self control does not come easily to the fierce dragon, but this year there is little energy stored after battling the dog. The wise dragon will spend resources with caution and build strength for new cycle starting with the rat year in 2008. Enjoy the quiet return to fullness and do not get frustrated at your weakness after battle with the dog all year in 2006. Your strength will return. This year plan trips and business ventures that will not need your full power. Success will come slowly. You will find many reasons for frustration with family and coworkers. It is not the fault of others that you cannot provide the energy you need this year. Control your fire breath and you will receive more assistance and find good fortune.

Snake : 1917, 1929, 1941, 1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001
The snake will find that he has not been invited to the pig's table. This year is a time of quiet for the snake to lie coiled and waiting for the rat year that will bring a new wave of good fortune. You may enjoy the company of friends and family, but successful results in business will be limited. It is not a good time to begin new ventures or to challenge decisions. Avoid conflicts — they will not bring good outcomes with the opposite pig sign ruling this year. The snake should enjoy home, food and limited travel while planning for the much better prospects coming when the opposing pig sign is no longer dominant. The rat and ox years ahead promise that this next 12 year cycle will be good to the patient snake who gathers resources and plans to move when the time is right.

Horse : 1918, 1930, 1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002
The horse will be invited to the party, but may find it difficult to get there. The energy of the horse is very different than the pig. The neighboring snake, who sits alone, may try to keep the horse from the feast by hiding the invitations or slowing down the messengers. You may find your business fortunes are delayed by slow associates and misdirected or misunderstood memos. You will not win the favor of the pig with expensive gifts. Spend wisely to pace your resources to last through the coming challenges of the rat year.

Sheep / Goat : 1919, 1931, 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003
At pig's table, sheep has the seat of honored guest. Luck and good fortune in romance and business are the gifts offered to the lucky sign this year. Gifts of money may surprise the sheep. The pig smiles on family and will shower the sheep who becomes engaged or married during this year with many blessings. Sheep born in this year will receive good fortune from the banquet host. The shy sheep or one who cannot decide may miss the advantage of all the opportunities that this year brings.

Monkey : 1920, 1932, 1944, 1956, 1968, 1980, 1992, 2004
Monkey will be invited to share the fullness of the table. This year will bring good fortune in business but monkey tends to rush to finish and the pig is a slow, detail minded sign. Expect frustration and delays, but do not get discouraged. These are minor setbacks, not the ill fortune of the last two years. The rat year coming up in 2008 will allow you to enjoy the full benefits of your patient work this year. Take time out to enjoy the pleasant year, it will help you to overcome the small frustrations in business. Be prepared for travel — you may even change where you live. All will be in preparation for the good fortune which the rat will share with you in 2008.

Rooster : 1921, 1933, 1945, 1957, 1969, 1981, 1993, 2005
Rooster will be at the feast, but pig is modest and rooster enjoys strutting. Conservative pig has little patience for rooster's emotional displays. In the pig year it is best to work on compromise. The rooster will worry about his seat at the table. Don't be foolish. Stop worrying and enjoy the party. Good fortune comes to the rooster who can copy the pigs steady pace. This does not come easy to the proud rooster and you will find that success this year takes more work. Business may suffer small problems, but a steady pig approach to completing tasks and following through on plans will bring rewards.

Dog: 1910, 1922, 1934, 1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006
The dog leaves the dominant energy of 2006 as the pig arrives to close the cycle. The dog will continue to enjoy good fortune, but should look inward during the pig year. The feast of the pig year will be enjoyed by the dog only if it is shared with family and friends. The dog is still full of energy and will find that this attracts new friends. Relationships that begin in this pig year may be a source of good fortune in the next 12 year cycle. Calm and relaxing activities are the best idea for the dog who wants to be prepared for the rat year of 2008.

Gung Hay Fat Choy!

Feng shui rulez

Got a mob message yesterday that we could only enter the office at 1130am SHARP today. Good thing for me coz mom has a check-up today so I don’t have to asked for time off. Lovely isn’t it.

There wasn’t any grand ritual we had to do but have to make sure we step in at that time. As soon as I do, it’s back to work and deadlines to fulfill.

It was an indefinite lovely break indeed...

Friday
Met Lara at Curve for dinner and we watched Ghost rider. It was... mmmm… how shall I best describe it…mmm… uniquely entertaining with an emmmm. I have mixed emotion about it, so I’ll make no comment whatsoever about it cause simply talking about it, making me even more puzzled.

Saturday
Karaoke with Dd, Yus and surprise surprise Ayu came too ! and of course when she’s around or Ila or… errr… pretty much these two zany madcap dudettes are around, serious wackiness happens !

That’s explained Dd sitting at the corner tormenting himself with our foolishness but then again Dd is no stranger to foolish beats aren’t you doll :-D

Sunday & Monday
Road trip to Eagle Ranch in PD was hot and jammed on the way but as soon as we got there, felt like am in Texas. Yeeee haaaaaa !

Place is really cool. It was clean and staff were all friendly. They had tepee – a red Indian village sort and chalet by the… not sure if its suppose to be river or pond, and cabin and dorms and house riding and go-kart which I get to ride this time and it was 10x faster than Genting’s (Hah ! ur lost Fun Kart-but-slow-n-no-fun-kart Genting !) and I also played archery (no nipple got injured this time) and paintball practice shoot and oh btw we camp closed to the paintball turf and a runaway pallet hit me on the thigh. Luckily it didn’t hit me on the face ! No bruises visible but sure kept me cautious of the pallets whenever there’s a game on.

Karaoke in public at nite. Sang few duets with Maman. I have high respect for people who I’m not sure if they realize how tone deaf and miserable they sound when they sing but you know how they say music soothe even the savage beast? In this case, the beast will surely rage brutally even more !

Luckily Maman & I was there to entertained or else Yus, Eddy and Ajeem will bored themselves to death. Yes I know, no need for gratitude dearies *wink*

I jacuzzied but didn’t swim. My ears are not fully recovered and I didn’t feel like it too (though truth of the matter, if I had my suit I would have anyways :-p )

We left for Umbai late noon and got there longer than expected. There were loads of people and as soon as you get out from the car, it smells like a fish market. Well, it was a fish market actually.

We didn’t get to dine at the best shop and service was slow. Typical for some business people, when it gets really busy, service goes down badly and we, the patrons, left settling for whatever we get. It’s the attitude really. Very disappointing.

Reached home past midnite. Breakaway is always a tiring endeavor.

Tuesday and Wednesday
Set up the tent on the balcony for the girls to play and haven’t packed it up yet. Oh btw, so it was raining on Wed and yup camp all wet too. Sorry Yus….hehehe…. And we watched Music and Lyrics yesterday at Sunway.

Once you had Cineleisure, TGV just don’t cut it.

Had a good laugh when they went back into time and into 80s. Gosh that era was a fashion disastrous ! Good flick to watch. I think Drew lost weight too. She looks good and Hugh… well… still Hugh.

So generally, I spend my breaks eating, movie, outdoor kicks, eating and movie and still not enough of sleep… hehe… alhamdullillah weekend 2 days away and I already have plans for Saturday !

*humongous grin from ear to ear*

Have a prosperous ‘Oink Oink’ year y’al !

After weeks of hustle and bustle, running and puffing, hissing and dissing, here comes a restful holiday break. 5 days to loosen up and breathe at a normal pace. A chance for the brain to unruffled and be in calm state of mind.

Starting 8pm tonite, I’ll have non-stop gadabout. Movie, karaoke, camping – all inline for me to do in these 5 days. I’m so happy Chinese new year is as big a deal as Aidilfitri. So happy am Malaysian :-D

Anyhoot just to share that Fly FM called me up to share my Worst Valentine last Wednesday. This was the easiest task they asked of me. A no brainer definitely. Much to my surprise, Dean noticed me on-air that morning. He called immediately, getting all excited that for once he heard a friend on-air and know too well who I was referring to… hehehe…

This is why I left the entertainment business… I can't handle the paparazzi *wink*

Well my peeps, call me for a gad. I’ve no plans Tues and Wed. First come first serve basis ok…hehehe… am so vain :-p

Relationship...

It is a lovely ordeal and heart breaking all in once. It’s nice to have someone that cares about you, always there for you and indirectly obligated to do things with you and for you so you don't have to look for friends to accompany you at whatever time.

Ok that’s called devoted slavery…hehehhe….

I had a bosom friend who would do such thing before but she’s happily married now living across ocean and yet we are still close as before although now, when I breakdown and cry, she can’t come over to console me like she always does :-(

BUT… that’s friendship and that will never die even when push come to shove. Relationship, an emotional and sexual association between two people is far more complicated. It seems harder to be honest and blunt with each other. There’s always this worry making sure you don’t offend that person cause the worst could happen and you’re left alone again. Another scenario is that you like that someone but the other don't feel the same. And the ultimate worst scenario is when two people mutual like each other but neither want to say it out. That’s just love lost in communication. Then there’s the forbidden love… it could be a legal, religious or gender issue :-O

Point is… companionship make you feel complete and not alone in this crude world. I guess you’re only alone when you have no one whosoever to rely on in your most needing moment. That is sad. Even worst if no one wants to be around you.

To those whose getting all work up cause cupid didn’t get you a Valentine, don’t fret cause having your loved ones with you, even though it's just friendship is best than not having anyone to loved or be loved at all.

Besides, you don’t need valentine to feel love. It’s always there lingering in you until infinitely.

Qabil kabhi...

I knew I’ll have an occupied Saturday but not doing work. Anyways, life in an agency is like that so work I did !

Managed to get me-time at the gym before going to Cine1eisure watching Kuntilanak. It's an Indonesia horror movie. Gives chill at the spine but there's always that little something they do to spoilt the thrill. While waiting to head to Kajang, I ended up at the cinema but the thing we suppose to get was not done completely so a visit to Kajang was cancelled and I continued gadabout Curv3.. ahah.. I wished I can say I went shopping but *sigh* I was only accompanying.. til the shop closed ! Though I must say, I got something out of it.

Thanx Sai…it’s really cool *wink*

Had family gathering at my aunty’s place and it was a huge ordeal too. Canopy was up and catering was called in and I only know my aunty. Everyone else were aliens to me ! Our family bond is so bad that you never know if any of those Limah, Timah, Hasan or Abu could just be related to me. Appallingly awful !

Mom was overjoyed that Yus and I took her watched Qabil Khusry Qabil Igam at Cine1eisure.

Yes people.. I watched Malay movie at the cinema. Sound the alarm. Call the guards. I’ve gone mad !

I must say this movie makes sense and was actually… *biting lips hard* … good. It had hindustany element but it’s real, straightforward and relevant to our everyday lives. It had a good moral to the story: drug messes everything.

Hardest bit for me was trying not to cry as I intentionally did for kabhi khushi kabhie gham.

It was a Saturday night and I got nothing to do so I thought I get emotionally involved with the movie and cry my hearts out. I didn’t realized I would overdid it *blush*

Had late dinner at Idaman later. Mom loves the tom yam. Show me one person who doesn’t like the tom yam and I’ll say that person had no sense of good food :-D

So early *yawn*

Here I am in the office so bright and unusually early in the morning just to get access into the email because the wardrobe is not yet finalise for today’s shot. It’s always stressful when things are beyond your control and we just have to wait… and wait… and wait.

I’m sure it’ll be a fun shot because the storyline is very interesting. Can’t wait to go back in time…. Cool !

Truth reveal with a hush…

How could I not share my first phobia-tic experience ever !

As last time, I took the skyway up to Genting too. I always like it. Very relaxing and this is as close as I get to a ski cable ride… hehe… yes am pathetic but yet creative to think of an alternative. Anyhoot, Gie told us few weeks back a cable car dropped and a family died. Of course with a huge amount of dough, it never made the news or so they say….

So when I got in, I was my usual content self, enjoying the sight and cold breeze. Hang on. It was actually warm when we got in regardless of the wind and mist outside. I totally lost my cool when the cable stopped at the steepest route and cable started to swing ! Am not sure if it was the weather or someone moving in the cable but it sure freaks the heck out of me ! I was trying my extremely best to keep cool and not get hysterical and clasped my hands tightly so I don’t accidentally slapped anyone who's getting kicks out of this and make the cable swing harder… hehehe… it was that bad that I enraged easily.

I kept on asking Dd which side I faced during our last trip and Dd said facing front, just the same, but I sure didn’t felt any fear then. I apologized numerously to Fizi for scolding him for a statement not even meant for me. See what happened when I get phobia-tic – agitated and bad-tempered. I made it through the ride singing to ‘Smack that’ and ‘So sick’ playing from Yus’ handphone and every 2sec checking if we’re anywhere near the station.

Sorry again Fizi…

One thing I know for sure, I aint riding on the skyway anymore… whenever that will be… unless I hypnotized myself and forget about the accident…

mmmm…. that might just work !

A gr8 weekend...

Every time I head up to Genting, the weather is sunny and windy. It’s always a nice getaway breeze but this time, the first ever, it was freaking dang cold ! Of course I wasn’t prepared. Yus told me to bring something warm but I go ‘What d heck for? It’ll only get chill at nite !’

So egoistic ! hehehehe… I was so dang wrong !

This time around, it was more relaxing. Maybe coz we did most of the rides during our last visit or maybe it was a half the peeps and less chaotic but nonetheless, it was enjoyable. We went on bumper car thrice and I aimed the car in pink so whoever gets in the pink, is my prey ! Gie was being a good host during our entire stay. He makes sure we’re well entertained and taken care of. First time ever, we had dinner at the staff ‘s canteen and the food was satisfying. He booked us a room to karaoke too. Of course, it’s hard to round up the peep to go. There’s always excuses – pained ankle, wind in the tummy, headache but throughout karaoke they seem to hog on the mic and boggying all nite ;-)

Fun preceded pain huh ... ahaks !

On Saturday, met Maman and he gave Ezz and I sari from Mumbai. Absolutely gorgeous ! Thanx Maman !

We met up with Ezz at the Curv3 and I must say, she’s looking good. I wondered if there’s someone motivating her extreme new weight lost *wink*

We watched Holiday at Cine1eisure. It was a comical and moving movie. I am so Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet remind me of…ehem…ehem… you know who you both are !

Spent Sunday with the family. Gosh I so enjoyed my break and most importantly I spent it with all my loved ones. As Yus said, sharing is caring and I’ve loads to give :-*

Oppsy… before I forgot…
HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAK ILA ! LONG LIVE THE QUEEN !
