In the spirit of raya...
This raya has been extraordinary. The first day itself we expanded our raya route up to Mantin. I only discovered an area named Mantin in Negeri Sembilan from a new acquaintance a.k.a a hoohaa crew.
Our raya team has gotten smaller with myself, yus and meng in the convoy. No news from Zul. He must be busy pr-ing with Aisha’s family. Good for them.
Yesterday, we went to 3 open house invites. It started from Bandar Tasik Selatan > Setiawangsa > Putra Heights. By the time I sent the crews back, I reached home about 2am feeling very knackered and stuffed full.
I was worried I overdressed because I usually wore pants for raya visits but yesterday, I put on a raya outfit. So unlike me but of course, my instinct over tedious matter is as good as any vital ones. Everyone was in the spirit of raya, some didn’t had on a raya outfit but was definitely dressed well. I remembered when people came in normal casual clothes like it’s another potluck party. People don’t bother dressing up but now they make sure their image and style are well presented. I think as people grow and insyallah in good status, they will take more precedence in their stature persona.
For self-proclamation and satisfaction, this is a constructive effort but if one condemned others thinking their look, personality and position standing is better than the rest, they are as good a loser as a fox – selfish, self-centered, thinking they can outsmart others when in reality they are being outsmarted and laughed about. They don’t have any true friends. Why would they when they themselves are not true to others.
In the spirit of raya, ask for forgiveness but don’t instantly get back to the bitchiness. I’m getting stressed over people I don’t even know but just upset that some of my friends are surrounded by them. Sigh.
I’m so lucky my friends are not like that and we accept one another as it is. Not hoping anyone to follow or think the same way as each other. What fun would that be if we all think alike. God might as well make us all looked the same ain’t it.
Life is like a colourful rainbow. You feel all fuzzy when you see its beautiful sight and when the sun sweeps it away, instant of enjoying the bright cheery warmth, some decided it’s hot enough to burn others so they can now feel happy.
Pathetic.
