The return of Nad…

It was everything I imagined it would be – endless comical moments added with unexpected statements and unlimited witticism. She still the chatty, friendly, gullible and baffle self and thank goodness Denver did not change her a single bit !

We started our reunion at Curve with dinner and dance on Friday. We were silly at Sanctu@ry which resulted to drink spilt twice, a range of pole dancing shows over some blinders instead of a pole, slippery steps fall and a nite full of fun. Sunday had a ‘shouting concert’ at Pavilion Redb0x Plus. There were jumping instead of dancing, shouting instead of singing and mockery instead of praises. Unquestionably it was absolutely an enjoyable gadding !

She has proven to Ezz and Maman the existence of someone who’s beyond my talkative and chaotic nature.

Thank you Nad !

Nad wasn’t the only highlight for the week. ‘A certain someone’ demanded aid for physical support, constant watching in case a stink ends with a major washing job and priceless panic-stricken outcomes. It would be a long essay if I detail out the scenario but in summary – forgotten car park, weakest and insupportable heave for SOS, the accidental head thud on the floor, miscommunication to close a remote activated gate that definitely would not budge instead of the intended door and non-stop amusing scenes. LOL !

Perplexity will continue with Nad until Jan 16 and it will not be anything less than rowdy and sweet !

I like it when a plan comes together...

It’s good to know when people dear to me are moving to better things in life and insyallah prosper well in all their future undertaking. That’s how it should be. Of course we face a few hiccups here and there but for a betterment and a good lesson learnt.

Congratulation Sam for the new career advancement. I’m looking forward to unlimited free treats from @&W in 2008 and Cat, they need people like you to make it a happening gad place for people like us. Good luck both !

Last Tues, I had dinner at F1 in Pchg. It’s the old F1 now in a modern sporty shop. I like everything about it – food and ambience is cool but it's quite a distance for the rest. Yus and I tried dining there few days before when we were bored and hungry and after trying, instantly thought it would be good to bring the others too. Ezz, Maman & Ajeem came that Xmas nite and we handed them their new year’s gift. It’s not fancy and it wasn’t something we initiated to give like last year but since I seldom do a lot of sharing when it comes to monetary, I thought this is my smallest gesture to show my appreciation to their friendship and support through my downpours.

Like I have any... well maybe over petty qualms :-D

Nad is back in town and tonight we’re gadding to catch up on past times. I think it’s been 3 years since she last came back. Already, she’s driving me nuts over social meet up but we’re equally ecstatic to hear her nuttiness LIVE again.

A reminder to all gadders: It’s ok to halt Nad while she’s talking otherwise you never able to utter a single word ! You think I’m talkative, meet my bosom gal *LOL*

Istanbul Dec 7-12... where Europe meets Asia

A half day stopover in Dubai. This is as close as we get to Jumeira.

HRC Dubai for toilet stop.... hehehe... story later.

The magnificient Blue Mosque a.k.a Sultan Ahmed Mosque.

The only place I know co-exist Islamic and Christianity elements.

Mockery of the Medusa.

The people who deserved the reward. I just happened to join in the right time ;-)

My self-Titanic scene !

A beautiful weather in Istanbul. Lovely.

The best of Istanbul.

Salam Aidiladha 1428

As I expected, this year, raya haji was not celebrated as I commonly do. No visiting friends house, although, for 3Q sake, I took them and mom over to Yus’ parent house. Of course initially they cling on to me like clue but after awhile, they loosen up and bought some nic nac from Yus mom’s selling cart. For the first time, they had their first ice lolly, the famously 10sen ice cream you get from local vendor ancients ago. You just need the plastic to put the liquid in i.e rose or orange syrup or milo, freeze it overnite and ready to suckle. They really enjoyed it !

Ma, you want to save money from buying hello kitty ice cream, the ice lolly is your getaway !

Meng, ezz, yus and I watched Nation@l Tre@sure 2 later that nite before celebrating Meng’s birthday at L@undry. Ila, Ajx and his friend were already at L@undry when we finished the movie, which I thought was better than the first. It had more action adventure. Bought Meng cake from Empress which was yummy and luckily they had a candle to spare.

Long live the happe-Meng ! May you have colourful happenings more than its already is now ! I think we know you a tat bit more than we wanted too. Two words: Men’s room !! Sharing is caring ONLY for certain circumcision… eh I mean circumstances. LOL !

I spent most of the weekend lazing at home. When you do everything ever so often, it’s beginning to bore you but really, what else is there to do in KL nightlife but either chillin or carousing. I need to have equilibrium between work and leisure otherwise I’m doing unjust to myself. Although I felt like clubbing, my body need its due rest so I did exactly that.

Anyhow, next week Nad is back in town and I have a mean to gadabout. Sometimes, I just need a reason to gallivant to have a merriment time.

Why?

Well, just so I have a purpose to go out.

Do I really need a purpose?

Of course not…
But it sound better and guilt-free ;-)

2008 aphorism...

In 2 weeks or less, we are welcoming yet another new year. Time flies too fast and I say it almost every year but its true isn’t it. So many things happened to me this year. Some things brought me closer and some things I wished didn’t have to change and remained the same but most of the time I play no part in it and so I can only accept things as it is now. There were moments that I reminisced over it and sighed in sorrow. It was pitiful that it happened but hey… life’s like that. On a closer note, I gained closure from people I never thought I could have. Long lost friend is now a bosom buddy and someone I never thought will be part of my life again, is and a holistic agency does exist in this lifetime... hehehe...

I’m ending the year with Great Spirit and I do hope that 2008 brings me better charisma, elation, conquest and excellences.

Remember... I live on dreams. No fret. No fear ;-)

Looking back at 2007, my motto in life undoubtedly defined – Simplicity creates perfection.

Live it. Dream it. Embrace it; either it’s good or bad, valiantly without over fussing the apparent.

Breezing bayu…

I experienced winter & summer in one week !

Two days after my trip from Istanbul, here I am in B@yu Beach with my love ones. It’s been awhile… mmmm… a very long while since we had our family getaway. Due to a relative’s wedding, my parent didn’t come with. It was a complimentary stay so I hoped the whole family could be there. Anyhow, it was an amiable sibling quality time.

The gurls have proven themselves to be an all-city kids because in their mind the sea is a ‘fake pool’ and swimming pool is a ‘real pool’. Of course they did not think that it was the sea that gave human the idea of creating a purified swimming area, hence the ‘real deal’ is the sea. Dira especially was ecstatic as soon she walked in the apartment. She was daring enough to ask us to let her go WITHOUT a floater. She was very hyper through the weekend. Am glad they enjoyed themselves and went somewhere this school holiday. I know its only PD but its better than nowhere at all.

Thanx AntY.

Turkish Delightful

I’m back !

I was absolutely infatuated with the weather. The whole getaway was splendid and a great bonding experience with my new colleagues. I’m proud that I do not conform to any particular clique and gad with everyone during the trip. Although sometimes I ended up doing things on my own but I rather it that way than pretending or trying hard to have fun. Of course, to some extend it was an opportunity to form new acquaintance ;-)

Had my own personal night guide and it seems there was a silent rival of who gets his attention more. As always, I’ve been misunderstood and there goes the back whispering but you know what they say, when you don’t want them, they keep on coming… ahaks ! Anyways, he ended up gadding with me, b0y and @yep cause he felt comfortable with us. Sometimes, doing nothing gets you more than you ever thought can.

Of course I will post his pix soon enough for me to gloat over... hehe... To think that Turks originally came from north of china, they sure don’t have any Chinese features... Alhamdullillah :-D

They overfed us with kebabs or the likes of it so no more kebab for me for a long while but I enjoyed the pita kebab and iskandar that we had from the side streets. Maybe the tour meals were set that way that it was just too much to undergo. I recorded cuts of belly dancing performance. There was this one particular dancing that awed me. Hopefully I know how to include mpeg in blog. Never done it before... mmmmm...

One of the amazing place I visited was Hagi@ Sofi@ because this is the only mosque I know that have a mosaic of virgin m@ry holding jesu$ and at both ends of it were emblems of Muhammad s.a.w and Allah s.w.t.

Next year we gotta work harder if we ever wanna go to Spain !

Don’t you just hate me :-))
