When it wanna happen... it happens...

What can I say, mishap happens and yesterday it happened to me.

A typical ad drop off at P3st board became a drama when my car just wouldn’t start. Immediately few distressed called was made to nearby crewies and the one that could come rescue me didn’t have a jumper. So while waiting, I asked anybody who passed by me for a jumper and none had until the kakak jaga, who also asked the staff that passed if they have a jumper too.

Luckily, 2 guys working in the same dept where I went to submit the ad but never met or liaise with helped and within minutes, my car back running again. It was exhausting because of the heat and frustration knowing there’ goes RM200++ for new battery.

Dah la nak raya and obviously kena kuar duit lebih drpd biasa kan walaupun duit berkurengan…sigh.

As I drove out from PB, I saw Maman and his service were no longer required. I went straight to the sparepart shop coz its cheaper and now riding on dry cell battery. Let’s see how long this will last me and now, in my hp, there’s also a reminder to check on the cat battery power meter a year later.

Just the day before, Maman’s car broke down in Brickfield because the same problem, battery out. So.. who’s next :-D

Am going!

Hey hey you you, I don’t like your girlfriend. When you’re gone, it’s gotten complicated. So much for my happy ending and who knows am forgotten. Sk8er boy, don't tell me it's hot. I'm losing grip when I'm with you. Tomorrow, my world is naked and nobody's fool can make me feel unwanted. This is the best damn thing.

Thanx Ezz!

A birthday plan turned pre-posa getaway…

In conjunction of Ajx 16th bday which officiated on Thurs Aug 21 @ Herit@ge Mansi0n, coincided with p1ccad nite, there was also a plan for a weekend getaway to Melaka but the bday boy had to work during the weekend. So I ended up going for a post-posa getaway with yus, ila and maman.

Coincidently, I just got reunited with Marlin, who was staying in Melaka and persistently requested that we bunk at her place. Not only we got a place to stay, Hedra designated Marlin to be our tour guide for throughout our stay! It’s been about 10 years since I saw them both, ever since I left Perth. Both still the same, cool dude and hot mama. They had Alwats then, now there’s Maya and Qalila too.

We shoot off about 11ish and reached Melaka 3ish. Had an hour chill before we head out to Jonker. It was drizzling on and off but it didn’t stop us from getting through the street. I get to try some interesting dishes i.e mochi - glutinous flour coated with crunched nuts and sugar, sugar coated mix fruits, steamed potato kuih and the cendol and fried cempedak were yummy too. We had dinner at Portugese Settlement. Seems it’s normal to be harassed by the food operators there unless you tell them you know which stall you’re gonna dine at. A very annoying experience I must say. We chose Sea Terrace, based on crowd and it was a satisfying choice indeed. We had black pepper crab, ikan jenak sweet and sour, mix veggie, flour coated squid, fried rice, fruit juice… (did I miss another dish??) all for RM120 for 5 pax! Cheap Cheap!

Next, we went to this new complex called The Jetty. It’s a mall built across Sg Melaka. It’s longish in structure and it was surprising when we needed to take a buggy to get to Gogo kbox, situated way at the end of The Jetty. The room rate was dang cheap too. VVIP room >16pax is only RM33 per hour! Never can you get such rate in KL. Look and feel of the place is somewhat like Redb0x Curve and songs selection is not as good as Pavili0n. We’re ok with that but they sped up the tempo of the songs so imagine our exhaustion singing the fast numbers. People don’t go there just to k’ok because they also have 2 level of terrace or balcony for gad. Cool coz in a way, you’re chilling in the middle of the Straits. We were very entertained with Hedra’s performance during ‘Asam Garam’ song. Soooo cool and dang hilarious!

Although it’s way pass CEO bedtime, we had a late nite soree at a mamak and headed back 4am! By this time, CEO couldn’t withstand his own head and was turning red of exhaustion! The night, or more likely wee morning, ends about 530am after a good shower and short chats.

Sunday was simply a lazy day. We stayed in until about 6pm before we head to Jonker again for foot reflex and dinner. It rained badly while we were having massage, so was stranded on Jonker for a while and reached home at 1am.

Next time, we’ll have a bbq by the pool at Marlin’s and horse riding at the stable just behind her place.

Thanx Marlin and Hedra for great hospitality and fb for getting us back connected again :-D

Abandon crew…

I heard but didn’t witness this spectacle. What I know, SOS to Meng was sent, a big baby panda was carried out, and woke up the next day, dazed and carless and shoeless with shirt covered in yuckies, and no one was able to take care of the sloshed crew.

Ish… Ish… Ish… Terlajak sudah…

Gr33k G0ds of Olympi@...

I just had an interesting and first Client-Agencies Dinner at V1ntry and in conjunction of current 0lympic fever, it was themed as such.

Agencies were asked to dress as a team of 0lympic and we were strongly recommended to outshine the rest. How else can we be different if we dressed as one of the games, which everyone would do too. So when my colleague suggested to dressed as the historian that proclaims the beginning of all 0lympic thereafter, we mutually agreed and thought it was an excellent idea.

Thanx to a friend of his who is a stylish, our costumes turned out more grand that we expected. We even initiated a role play presentation to begin the games, and luckily for us, there was game so it coincident brilliantly to the whole event. I was Artem1s, the huntman for the gods and lady of wild things (this was my line for the play). We even had a special music mix for us just for this function. I didn’t think I did too well but as a team, and for obvious reason, we won the best dress. Most of the pix are taken from my boss’ camera but I’m very excited to share this.

I'm definitely wearing this again in another function. It’s gorgeous! Absolutely love it!

Coincident or real...

I saw this when I was walking about P0pular and just had to capture this. Betcha he also didn’t know he writes… hehehe…

The night before I saw this, he was wearing the same shirt to Sanctu@ry and he came late too, saying he had something to do. The guy on this pix has the same physical and profile as him. I’m close to sure it is him. Not wanting to embarrassed a friend too much, let the name stays in secrecy even though he drives a BMW, some calls him 'chatterbox' and often ‘terlajak’ a plan *evil smirk*

8.8.08 – Beijing Olympics opening

I wasn’t even near a tv to watch this auspicious opening. Instead I was crossing 3 states and drove about 8 hours on this date (hey another 8 there!).

My sis wanted to go on a roadtrip to east coast so we did. We left KL 1130 and headed to Kuantan to meet up with Aiman who joined us for the rest of the trip. We arrived KB 2130 and I ODed myself with this guava snack Ngah bought from Sunway. My tooth ache miserably that my right side was dang dizzy. We checked in to this ol’ looking hotel called sentosa. Both my sis n maman said ok even though the room was kinda daunted. At that point, I just needed a bed and didn’t think much of it. I must say it was an intimidating experience for Ngah and Maman couldn’t sleep coz his room was facing the road and it was noisy by 0500!

We woke up bright and darn early for me on a Saturday morning and went to Pasar S1t1 Khad1jah. I was told about their hefty breakfast treat but I didn’t expect gulai ude besa ready to eat by 0800! Mom would be so proud of me for waking up at 0700 and reached pasar by 0800! So not me... hehehe...

I dressed decent as well coz I had in mind, in a religious state like this, I've to behave, but when I thought of one Kel@ntanese who is not very Kel@ntanese, I thought, they're not alien, they're human too :-p

Right after breakfast, we started our sinful shop-even though-I shouldn’t-spree. Actually, Ngah shop the most and I caved in at Rant@u Panjang. I was tempted to joined toto shopperholic but I didn’t! Yeah! But I bought for mom so that don’t count.

We headed back to town for lunch at Kr@ftangan Village before going to Pantai C@h@y@ Bulan for a lounging experience in fisherman’s village. It was situated deep in the woods and we knew we couldn’t stay there if we want to head out to town for the night. I was looking forward to the experience but it was an inconvenience so we head back to the city and straight to Ride1 H0tel. Its a one year hotel with contemporary design. Kinda remind me of Pyrm1d Tow3r. Both Ngah and Maman loved it and said we should have just stayed there the first nite. The thing is, I know of this hotel before we left but I thought Maman was on a budget coz he earlier suggested staying in a common hotel. It turned out when both agreed to stay in sentosa, they thought each other, my sis and man, was on a budget... hehehe...

We met up with Ezz later that night, who was also in Kelantan to attend a wedding. We chatted in a kopitiam in the same row as Ride1 till midnite – we covered quite a number of interesting issue i.e soft things (bende halus), political conspiracy and AIDS (background music appear: teteteteeeeeeeeett).

Took us miles away to gad huh gal...

On Sunday, we started our trip back about 9ish. We stopped and prayed at Masjid Kr1sta1 after we got ourselves some infamous kerepok l0s0ng. It wasn’t fab but the prepacked chilli keropok was yummy. I was surprised that M.Krista1 is small, rather a surau really but the dome (what do you call the whole structure??) is impressive. I've always been a masjid tryer and prayed at the mosque. On the way back, I tried Air nir@, somewhat juice from pucuk kelapa. According to maman, if left overnite, it turns to wine and alchoholable.

Crewies, it’s yummy (before the fragmentation) and during an economy downturn, this is a good fun alternative for you…you… you… and you :-D

We didn’t take load of pix but we captured everything on videocam. I was an unpaid traveller hostess on my own program and I wasn’t that great in capturing the pix coz I tend to look away from the screen but I must say, it was great to have everything on video.

I am anxious to take on another roadtrip and travel the whole of peninsula. I think a week ought to do it. Must add that in my wishlist. I guess to really know Msia is to travel around it too.

Thanx maman for chaperoning us and roadtrip was a great idea ngah. Let’s do it again !

F@ceb00k is great… so is life.

So was friendst3r actually. It’s one thing finding a friend thru it but it’s another when we actually meet in person after 10 years !

Her plan to surprise me by asking Ajx to text me for a gad on Fri nite at curv3 backfired when I thought it was just another weekend out with the crew and I already informed that Fri nite I will be blading with DD. I got a call later to then know about the ‘surprise’. She had a great time with the hoohaa in Sanctu@ry (tell me who never have a good time there esp when meeting Sangil@).

So the next day, I followed Marl1n to an equestrian club in Kuang to watch an Int Equest Championship. It was my first attending such event. Quite interesting though in did shut my eyes during dressage category. We waited for jumping and that was fun but it was time to go coz I’ve dinner at Dd’s.

It’s always fun going and chilling at Dd’s and especially when we no longer chill as often as we used to coz we’re both so busy living :-D

Oh have I mentioned I’m back blading again? I think I did. Anyways, it’s been two weeks or has it been three... since I last blade and though I have improve (shut up Dd), fear still overcome my daringness. I don’t know why I fear to go down an inch high divider but I was and even though it was possible not to fall, I did.

I always do the uncommon don’t I *wink*

Twice Dd had to babysit me and he was screaming at me to lift up my legs, slide wider, bend, break, bend and break... hehehehe... Now am thinking I might give up blading just because I might hold back Dd to enjoy his own blading moment. It’s fun and really, Putrajaya is a great place to blade but just afar, and I do enjoy blading but sigh...

Well, I’ll be on a week hiatus and maybe next round Yus can accompany me on skateboard so we’ll see. If I do sell, Dd would need to find me another bday prezzie also :-D

Tomorrow I’ll be off on a roadtrip with my sis and Maman will be chaperoning us ladies. Coincidently, Ezz will be in KB too for a wedding so maybe we’ll meet up. We’ll put up a night in a nelayan homestay place on sat and fri nite will be ad hoc.

It’ll be interesting and Dd has confirmed I need not wear tudung and I wont be held prison for it :-p

Intention ends mistakenly…

You know one of those moment that you wanted to share something with someone and way before you even completed you story, the person you’re telling to keep on interrupting and interpret it wrongly and started to assume all the things that you never thought could sway to???

Especially when you started to either gossip or because it was a good joke to share but it backfire to work related which was never intention for.

Then you’re back at your place thinking... WTF happen??

Seriously I dun get it... sigh.
